With the terracotta-coloured bitumen aluminium tape, you can quickly and reliably seal joints, transitions and damaged areas outdoors. Whether for roofs, gutters, sheet metal, steel structures or glass roofs/greenhouses: the tape is self-adhesive, has strong adhesion and is ideal as a sealing and repair tape.

Application – how to achieve a proper seal
- Prepare the substrate: dry, clean, free from dust & grease, abrasion-resistant and load-bearing.
- Porous/monolithic substrates such as stone, rough concrete or render: use Universal Haftgrund primer.
- On old timber boarding, roof tiles and old bitumen waterproofing, use our Bitumen Voranstrich V primer.
- Ensure a minimum temperature of 10 °C for tape and substrate.
- To improve adhesive strength, warm the substrate and tape to 20 °C.
- Positioning: align the tape and remove the release film.
- Apply & press on: press firmly, avoid cavities and bubbles, ideally using a pressure roller.
- Note: Each tape includes application instructions.
Important: The product is not compatible with silicone and must not come into contact with silicone-containing substrates.

Aplicación – cómo conseguir un sellado correcto
- Preparar el soporte: seco, limpio, libre de polvo y grasa, resistente a la abrasión y portante.
- Soportes porosos/monolíticos como piedra, hormigón rugoso o revoque: utilizar imprimación Universal Haftgrund.
- Sobre entablados de madera antiguos, tejas y antiguas impermeabilizaciones bituminosas, utilizar nuestra imprimación Bitumen Voranstrich V.
- Asegurar una temperatura mínima de 10 °C en la cinta y el soporte.
- Para mejorar la fuerza adhesiva, calentar el soporte y la cinta a 20 °C.
- Posicionar: alinear la cinta y retirar la lámina protectora.
- Pegar y presionar: presionar firmemente, evitar huecos y burbujas, idealmente con un rodillo de presión.
- Nota: Cada cinta incluye instrucciones de aplicación.
Importante: El producto no es compatible con silicona y no debe entrar en contacto con soportes que contengan silicona.

Mise en œuvre – pour une étanchéité parfaite
- Préparer le support : sec, propre, exempt de poussière et de graisse, résistant à l’abrasion et porteur.
- Supports poreux/monolithiques comme pierre, béton rugueux ou enduit : utiliser l’apprêt Universal Haftgrund.
- Sur anciens voligeages bois, tuiles et anciennes étanchéités bitumineuses, utiliser notre apprêt Bitumen Voranstrich V.
- Respecter une température minimale de 10 °C pour la bande et le support.
- Pour améliorer l’adhérence, chauffer le support et la bande à 20 °C.
- Positionner : aligner la bande et retirer le film de protection.
- Coller et presser : presser fortement, éviter les cavités et les bulles, idéalement avec un rouleau de pression.
- Remarque : Chaque bande est fournie avec des instructions de mise en œuvre.

Applicazione – come ottenere una sigillatura corretta
- Preparare il supporto: asciutto, pulito, privo di polvere e grasso, resistente all’abrasione e portante.
- Supporti porosi/monolitici come pietra, calcestruzzo ruvido o intonaco: utilizzare primer Universal Haftgrund.
- Su vecchi tavolati in legno, tegole e vecchie impermeabilizzazioni bituminose, utilizzare il nostro primer Bitumen Voranstrich V.
- Assicurare una temperatura minima di 10 °C per nastro e supporto.
- Per migliorare la forza adesiva, riscaldare supporto e nastro a 20 °C.
- Posizionare: allineare il nastro e rimuovere la pellicola protettiva.
- Applicare e premere: premere con forza, evitare cavità e bolle, idealmente con un rullo pressore.
- Nota: Ogni nastro include istruzioni di applicazione.

Verwerking – zo wordt het echt dicht
- Ondergrond voorbereiden: droog, schoon, stof- & vetvrij, slijtvast en draagkrachtig.
- Poreuze/monolithische ondergronden zoals steen, ruw beton of pleisterwerk: Universal Haftgrund primer gebruiken.
- Op oude houten beschotdelen, dakpannen en oude bitumenafdichtingen onze Bitumen Voranstrich V primer gebruiken.
- Let op een minimumtemperatuur van 10 °C voor tape en ondergrond.
- Voor verbetering van de kleefkracht ondergrond en tape tot 20 °C verwarmen.
- Positioneren: tape uitlijnen en schutfolie verwijderen.
- Opkleven & aandrukken: krachtig aandrukken, holtes en luchtbellen vermijden, bij voorkeur met een aandrukroller.
- Opmerking: Bij elke tape wordt een verwerkingshandleiding meegeleverd.
Belangrijk: Het product is niet compatibel met siliconen en mag niet in contact komen met siliconenhoudende ondergronden.
