What is the difference between pro clima INTELLO and INTELLO PLUS?
INTELLO is the standard version for fibrous batt and board insulation materials. INTELLO PLUS is reinforced and explicitly suitable for all fibrous insulation materials – including blow-in insulation such as cellulose, wood fibre and mineral fibre. INTELLO PLUS is more robust and our bestseller.
What can Tescon Vana do that other tapes cannot?
Tescon Vana has a fleece carrier that makes it stretchable and flexible – ideal for connections indoors and outdoors, on various substrates. It is weatherproof, UV-stabilised and long-term stable. The all-round tape for almost all detail points in the pro clima system.
What are pro clima pipe and cable grommets used for?
ROFLEX and KAFLEX are pre-formed grommets for airtight sealing of pipe penetrations and cable routes through vapour barriers and airtightness membranes. They replace the labour-intensive process of taping with tape and adhesive and are significantly faster and more reliable.
What is pro clima liquid sealant?
CONTEGO and TESCON SPRIMER are sprayable or brushable airtightness products for areas where membranes or tapes cannot be used – for example on very uneven substrates, gaps and critical detail points. They supplement the system where conventional means are difficult to apply.
Does the system guarantee apply with mixed products?
No. The pro clima system guarantee only applies when all components from the pro clima system are combined. Combining pro clima membranes with tapes from other manufacturers voids the guarantee. We recommend staying consistently within the system.
Which constructions is pro clima suitable for?
pro clima systems are used in timber-frame construction, roof renovation, between-rafter insulation, blow-in insulation in existing constructions and vapour-open wall structures – for new builds and renovation.
