§ 1 General

Your personal data (e.g. salutation, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank details, credit card number) are processed by us only in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law and the data protection law of the European Union (EU). In addition to the purposes of processing, recipients, legal bases and storage periods, the following provisions also inform you about your rights and the controller responsible for your data processing.

This privacy policy applies only to our websites. If you are redirected to other websites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.

§ 2 Data Processing for Contract Performance

(1) Purpose of Processing

The personal data you provide us with during the ordering process are necessary for concluding a contract with us. You are not obliged to provide your personal data. However, without your address we cannot dispatch the goods to you. For certain payment methods, we require the necessary payment data in order to pass them on to a payment service provider commissioned by us. The data you enter during the order process are processed for the purpose of contract performance.

If you send us an inquiry by e-mail, via a contact form, etc. prior to concluding a contract, we process the data received in this way in order to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example to answer your questions about our products.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

(3) Categories of Recipients

Payment service providers, shipping service providers, hosting providers, merchandise management systems where applicable, suppliers (drop shipping) where applicable.

(4) Storage Period

We store the data required for contract processing until the expiry of the statutory warranty periods and any contractual guarantee periods. Data required under commercial and tax law are retained for the statutory periods, generally ten years (cf. § 257 HGB, § 147 AO). Data processed in connection with pre-contractual measures are deleted once the measures have been carried out and it is apparent that no contract will be concluded.

§ 3 Comments

(1) Purpose of Processing

There is the option to post a comment. Your data (e.g. name/pseudonym, e-mail address, website) will then only be processed for the purpose of publishing your comment.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

(3) Legitimate Interest

Our legitimate interest is the public exchange of user opinions on specific topics and products. Publication serves, among other things, transparency and the formation of opinion. Your interest in data protection is safeguarded, as you may publish your comment under a pseudonym.

(4) Storage Period

No specific storage period is defined. You may request the deletion of your comment at any time.

(5) Right to Object

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and which does not serve direct marketing purposes. In the case of direct marketing, you may object to the processing at any time without giving reasons.

§ 4 Disclosure of E-Mail Address to Shipping Companies

We pass on your e-mail address to the transport company as part of contract processing, provided you have expressly consented to this during the order process. The disclosure serves the purpose of informing you by e-mail about the shipping status. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR with your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying us or the transport company, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

(1) Purpose of Processing

• Right to Restriction of Processing Pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of processing of data concerning you.
• Right to Data Portability Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller.
• Right to Withdraw Consent to Data Processing Pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal is not affected thereby.
• Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority If you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR, you have the right pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement).
