TargoFIX SK – High-Performance Airtight Sealant
TargoFIX SK is a permanently elastic high-performance sealant for interior construction.
It is ideal for creating airtight wall and structural connections for vapor barriers and vapor retarders.
The sealant offers a wide adhesion spectrum, excellent adhesion without primer (even on slightly damp surfaces), and outstanding long-term durability. It remains permanently elastic and reliable over time.
Designed for applications according to DIN 4108 / SIA 180.
Application Instructions
Surface preparation: Surfaces must be clean, stable and free from dust and grease.
Wet application
- Apply sealant as a continuous bead of at least 8 mm
- Create a relief loop in the membrane
- Press membrane gently into the bead – the bead must remain at least 4 mm thick
Dry application
- Apply sealant and allow to dry for 1–2 days
- Create a relief loop and press membrane firmly into place
Important: TargoFIX SK provides an airtight seal, not a structural bond.
Install membranes without tension. If no relief loop is used, the connection must be mechanically secured (e.g. batten).
