Typical applications
- Sealing joints and cracks in gutters, sheet metal and roof coverings
- Permanently waterproof sealing of glass roofs & greenhouses
- Eaves and valley flashing, sheet metal overlaps & steel structures
- Sealing corrugated fibre cement roof sheets
- Timber frame construction: transitions between wall and floor slab in the plinth area, sill/basement or floor slab

- Sealing wood fibre roof underlays and wall panels in house construction
- Sealing retaining wall elements in landscaping
- Waterproof bonding and sealing of roof windows, chimneys & pipe penetrations
- Roof and wall connections
Application – how to achieve a proper seal
- Prepare the substrate: dry, clean, free from dust and grease, abrasion-resistant and load-bearing.
- For porous/monolithic substrates such as stone, rough concrete or plaster: use universal primer.
- On old wooden boarding, roof tiles and old bitumen waterproofing, use our bitumen primer V.
- Ensure a minimum temperature of 10 °C for tape and substrate.
- To improve adhesion, warm substrate and tape to 20 °C.
- Positioning: align the tape and remove the release film.
- Apply & press down: press firmly, avoid cavities and bubbles, ideally using a pressure roller.
- Note: Each tape comes with application instructions.
Important: The product is not compatible with silicone and must not come into contact with silicone-containing substrates.

Tip for professional results
Substrates should be dry, clean and load-bearing. On rough concrete and stone, universal primer ensures maximum adhesion and permanently secure sealing. On old weathered bitumen roof waterproofing, shingles and roof tiles, use our bitumen primer.
