Bitumen Primer V – 5 L Canister
The Bitumen Primer V is a low-viscosity, solvent-based bitumen primer for reliable adhesion promotion. It is ideal as a primer for the subsequent installation of bitumen-based cold self-adhesive tapes and membranes as well as for coatings. Thanks to its good adhesion and high penetration capability into the substrate, it ensures a secure bond for subsequently applied materials.

Areas of application
Suitable as a primer for adhesion promotion for the cold installation of sealing and coating materials, especially for bitumen-based self-adhesive tapes and membranes. Adheres to steel, concrete, masonry, old bitumen roofing membranes, wood and other common construction substrates.
Application instructions
Weather conditions
- Component surface and ambient temperature must be above 5 °C.
- Avoid water, rain and frost exposure during application and drying.
Substrate
- Substrate must be dry and free from oils, grease and loose particles.
Application
- Before use, thoroughly homogenize the primer.
- Apply by brushing or spraying.

- Theoretical consumption: approx. 0.2 – 0.3 kg/m² (depending on substrate)

Cleaning & storage
- Clean tools with water while fresh, or with a suitable cleaner once cured.
- Storage: at least 12 months in unopened original container. Protect from direct sunlight and heat, keep away from ignition sources.
