Polymer sealing tape is the white equivalent of bitumen aluminium tape. It has no metallic surface, but a white polymer top layer – visually less obtrusive on white and light-coloured building materials, and particularly well suited to plastic substrates where bitumen tapes sometimes bond less reliably. Typical applications include caravans and motorhomes, but also greenhouses, white sheet metal roofs and light-coloured plastic roofs.

Why is it called caravan tape?
Because it was originally developed for repairing and sealing caravans and motorhomes. Caravan roofs are often made of GRP or other plastics on which bitumen tapes do not always bond optimally. Polymer sealing tape bonds reliably to these substrates and matches the typically white caravan bodywork.
Is the tape UV-resistant?
Yes. The polymer sealing tape is UV-resistant and weatherproof – permanently suitable for outdoor use. It does not yellow under UV exposure significantly faster than comparable white sealing products.
